About

Growing up on a horse ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley, I have always had a love for animals. This love led me into raising service dogs. I am now working with my 9th puppy who will go onto do great things for someone who needs him. Through my experiences working with cats, dogs, and horses, I’ve become the “go-to person” when my friends, their kids, or their “friends of friends” bring home a puppy or new dog. My experiences have taught me that I have a passion to teach others how to smoothly welcome a new four-legged friend into the family.

Building a foundation that creates a lifetime of happiness for you and your new family member is key. There are many simple things that you can do to help your puppy grow and learn in the positive environment you create for them. I am here to help you recognize what your puppy or new dog needs and teach you the skills to create that environment for them.

The first few months with a puppy or new dog can be hard, but it is these first months that set the tone for your entire relationship. Whenever I bring home a new puppy for the service dog organization I volunteer for, I commit to setting the tone with my pup from when they are 8 weeks old to when they are 5 months old. These first months are just as important if you are welcoming a new puppy or an older dog into the family.
